I have not felt well this week either. I’ve had some sort of asthma respiratory issue and am coughing.  I never cough. I had a tough time working out with the trainer this morning.

I also need to do more packing.  So far I have packed about a dozen boxes. They are moving slow on the new house and I am hesitant to move things over until it is cleaned from the construction process. I think the dust over there is what aggravated my allergies and asthma.

I worked on my new intuitive girlfriend yesterday. She was in a lot of pain. It feels good to help her, even if it is only temporarily. She gave me more good signs of my future. My friend “A” and I hung out a bit today. We had a nice lunch at the High Noon Restaurant in Old Town. I hadn’t had a margarita in a while and was long overdue. So, I had two!

Tonight I cooked dinner for my friend Jerry. I made an Italian Red Sauce with Sausage over whole wheat pasta and some delicious green beans. We had a nice night on the patio and fun indoors on the lamb skin rug. I had fires going in both kivas, in and outside.

Sometimes I wanna do just normal stuff with a special guy, such as Jerry or Mike S. Watching TV, eating popcorn and cuddling or reading under the covers together. Or going to a movie, shopping, cooking, or out to dinner as a duo. Just being near the one you care about. I miss that in my life. I do almost everything alone and have most of my adult life. Living the life of an escort can be a very lonely existence. It’s hard to have friends. It’s hard to tell people what you do for a living and them understand. They usually aren’t so excepting of you!

Today………….I have enjoyed being a home body. I put the lawn to bed for the fall and watered for the last time, I think. I ran some errands! I worked out with the trainer for the first time in over a month. I know I will be sore tomorrow! I told him I just spent over $2k on my car, and that’s three months worth of training. He is trying to work with me on my budget so I can still continue my program. I’m going to have to cut back to 3 each 1/2 hour sessions per week. At least until I have used all of my prepaid sessions. And I may have to totally cut it out and work out on my own. I am cutting out some of the fluff in my monthly expenses and the trainer is a big one. So are my weekly massages with “A” and getting my hair done and toenails painted! The good news, it has not come to me only eating Top Raman Noodles just yet. That’s when it is really bad for you financially. College days bad. hehe I’m not thinking doom and gloom, but I am trying to be prepared for the worst. My business has definitely slowed down since August, but luckily I still have a fan base and people who care about me! It’s sad and frustrating though………………….I’ve been getting more requests for appointments in Dubai than I have for right here in my home town of Albuquerque, New Mexico! (this is an old post that I forgot to publish, business has picked up in the last 2-weeks)

I’ve had a couple of Date Without the Hassles, always by far my favorite way to see my clients. I hope to only offer these longer appointment in the very near future to any new client. No more quickies for anyone new. I feel one reason I have been successful all these years is that I am constantly changing and offering new things. It stimulates my mind and keeps me from getting too bored. Besides, I love challenges too. My life has a big challenge ahead of me!

I later had an appointment with Melanie. She’s the assistant to my friend Jerry and the one who found me for him, two years ago. Besides, we had been wanting to meet one another for a while. I thought she was just coming for some body work. Until the last year or so, I didn’t believe much in all this psychic and intuitive stuff. I have now met with three counselors, and they have all pretty much said the same thing about my remarkable life. She has a very powerful gift! She told me some things about my life and what the future holds for me! It’s nice to know I am adored by a very special man, even though he is in another state! It took me a while to figure out who she was talking about, but it finally all came together for me! We spent a delightful, but draining four hours together. We talked about Jerry some of the time. I really feel like he will be a part of my life for years to come. We’ll continue to have other lovers, and we will always at least be friends. He’s that special to me.

Now in retrospect, I am feeling guilty and terribly disappointed that I missed seeing him today! Maybe he’ll give me a private one so I’ll know what I missed. Being an attorney, he’s not bashful speaking in public, but I think he’s a little shy with me though!

I also got to see Barry, another one of my favorite regulars. I really take my time with him and we have become good friends this year. He has a special place in my heart because he is a single dad. I admire him for taking care of his little girl and 2-dogs. He made me feel extra special, letting me know how much he had missed me. He confessed to seeing another local provider. I think I wrote about this, but I did not re-sign a one year lease for my patio home. I am going month-to-month. Thankfully, the owner only charged me a minimal amount each month to not sign a lease. I was thinking they were gonna charge hundreds more. But I am a good renter, and they really don’t want me to leave.

I am researching moving to Dubai. It may or may not happen, but it is fun to start thinking about putting things in motion. My major reason for not moving is Nubio and Sagan. What would I do with the boys? It would be a brutal trip to move them over there. They would most likely be quarantined for a long period of time too. I even would have to get an HIV test once there and a chest x ray.

I am hoping this week is not an indication of things to come! But from what everyone is saying, the first quarter of next year is projected to be really bad. I may not move to Dubai, but may visit more regularly for a month at a time. I am putting a pencil together and looking at long term housing and airfare for a return. Just to see if it is feasible. The business is definitely there for my tantra-ssage, but the expense are exorbitant. The main reason for the move would be to get a spa industry job. Dubai wants to be the Spa Capital of the World by 2010. There are lots of opportunities forthcoming. It will be a way to work myself away from this industry, eventually. But, I’m not so sure I am ready yet. I still enjoy what I do very much. Any words of wisdom for me?

I’m just feeling really confused right now and want to have options available for me in the future should thing get really bad. As I keep saying, it’s pretty scary when I am solely responsible for my myself and use escorting and tantra-ssage are my only income source.

I really wish my sister would move to ABQ and just take over my place and the kitties. Then I could come and go as I pleased, as time off and finances warranted. Or do I put everything in storage? I’m even thinking of down-sizing if I stay here and have a separate massage studio for working.

Anyway, it is fun to think about whether it happens are not. I will alway use ABQ as my home base now. I do feel totally at home, grounded, and at peace here.
