Pink Jeep Tour
My spiritual quest has pretty much ended. I do have a session in an Indian Sweat Lodge scheduled for later on in the week that I am really looking forward to for some reason. But for now I get to do something fun and really touristy. The Pink Jeep Tours is Arizona’s number one tourist attraction. I opted for the most popular tour, The Broken Arrow. I even bought a safari hat to wear for touring! The jeeps cost a whopping $55k and are retro-fitted for touring. I felt like I was riding around in a huge Barbie pink Jeep! I had an absolute blast! It was hot, fun, educational and informative! I was so impressed with the companies professionalism. Remember, I use to be in tourism! When I got back to the hotel, I was all hot, sweaty and sunburned!

I liked the Amara Spa and Resort but decided I could get a better rate somewhere else. I was ready for a change. I moved to the Sedona Rouge Hotel and Spa where I had planned to stay another 4-nights. Both hotels had their pros and cons. Later that afternoon I went back to the Amara Hotel for one of the world famous facials. It was the most expensive facial I have ever had, but I did look 10-years younger for several days!
I found myself drinking beer everyday, A rarity for me. The new hotel had a much better pool for lounging so I took full advantage of it and read more in my book that I haven’t read in 3-months. Called “Eat, Pray and Love”. Now she is in India learning to pray and meditate. I could relate to her struggles with meditation! So apropos that I would be reading about this now! I struggled with her struggles to get through this 1/3 of the book! You would think by now I would have clarity and be able to focus and finish this damn book! I still have the Indonesia section to read about her travels.
