Reflections on the Weekend

July 29th, 2008 by Admin

I had a great weekend! I saw three new clients! One was an attorney from Philly. We drank wine and did a tantra-ssage, then drank more wine! I saw two locals, one a computer programmer and the other a recently divorced man. They both were interesting! One gentlemen had wanted to see me for about a year. It just took him a while! The other had been looking at my ad on CL for months and finally decided to make the call. I saw him several days later after his initial call and he came for a just a tantra-ssage too. I went way over on time with both of them as I was enjoying the visit and their company. The divorced man and I really clicked. We talked for a while, then jumped under the covers. We both were in an extra cuddly mood. I’ve got to get my cuddling in! Spooning Nubio, my cat, just doesn’t cut it! He asked if we could just share each others photos instead of doing a massage between rounds, so we did. We drank white wine and looked a his landscape photography and my travel photos. He’s a great photographer and I enjoyed his work. Maybe I should add to my menu “photo-ops”. I seem to attract a lot of photographers. But, I’m so self-conscious about my photos, so maybe that’s not a good idea. I’m a least open to thinking about it. I finally had some help downloading my India pictures. Can you believe they had been in the camera for a year now? If I could figure out how to load the photos of India on my site I would.  This time a year ago I had left for India on July 25th, 2207.  Some of the photos were good, but because it was rainy season there, the lack of lighting made the photos dark. Looking at the photos also brought back some painful memories. I was struggling at the time both emotionally and physically. You could see it in my photos. I was a stressed out mess from Massage School and trying to get the funds to take-off for that long was difficult. I was going off anti-depressants and went through a very low period. My thyroid had also gotten messed up trying to go off western medications and only use the Ayurveda herbs instead. I had gained a lot of weight.  I look awful in all the photos. I mean really awful! No make-up, extra fat, bloated and………..scary!  When he left, I finished the wine and wrote several entires in my blog! I seem to be more open with my writing when I have had a glass of wine or a margarita. Go figure! I then on the spur of the moment went to see “Momma Mia”. It was terrific, light, uplifting and entertaining. I loved it and highly recommend this movie! Besides, I love musicals! I wanted to get up and dance and clap, but the rest of the audience wasn’t into the move like I was. I had forgotten all those songs were from that musical. No clients today…………..worked out intensely this morning with the trainer. He’ll have me do some really heavy reps and sets, then a bunch of light weight sets and reps. The light weight high repetition sets kill me. I also did some really delicate maneuvers that where painful and difficult. Without even showering, I met ‘A’ for studying and lunch. I hope I don’t see anyone I know when I am out like that and have just come from the gym. We went to Starbuck’s, studied, then to Uptown Bar for lunch and more studying. My brain was fried! No margaritas or drinks, just studying this time! I’m trying to be good this week. At home alone tonight, gonna kick back and study some more!
